I have always preferred Folder organisation to Tags even in Evernote. Folder structure means a decent organisation structure. WISIWYG editor is pretty good compared to Joplin and can be extended easily with community plugins. Files are all local but synced to OneDrive. Obsidian - Of all the ones I have tried I keep coming back to this and am making the transition. Joplin - Like that it is local but not familiar enough with Mark-up to use it well and don't have the energy to put into it for now. Have Tried loads of the Alternatives and here are my views on some of the most common ones mentioned here.
